Note that my bio is as follows:

After several years as a Master of Divinity student at Harvard Divinity School, Maxine switched fields to earn a Master’s degree in Religion from Harvard and a Certificate in Parapsychology from the JB Rhine Research Center at Duke. Her Master’s thesis compared trance within Spiritualism and Tibetan Buddhism and she has presented her academic findings at conferences of the prestigious Society for Psychical Research and the British Association for the St Religion. Three of her articles have been published within the PsyPioneer Journal and Maxine is the author of many books to include Great Moments of Modern Mediumship: Volumes 1 and 2, What the Great Mediums have taught us about Spiritual Healing, Spirit Guides, and Mediumship, What is Spiritualism? and Grounds in your Coffee: A Guide to Coffee Tasseography. She describes herself as a “skeptical believer” and this rational, scientific approach is very much evidence in her writings and lectures. Maxine has been featured in the Psychic News, frequently appears on radio shows, served as a US Army paratrooper, taught grade school to college as a state-certified teacher, but now she is better known as a down-to-earth, “no woo-woo” psychic medium skilled in precognition and the proprietress of Better Books and Café.
